Description

We're doing something a little bit different for this month’s GESA Doctoral Network. Prof Catherine Lyall, Research Convener and Professor of Science and Public Policy at STIS, will be leading a workshop about interdisciplinary research and how to get the best out of interdisciplinary PhD supervision. Catherine is the co-author of “Interdisciplinary Research Journeys – Practical Strategies for Capturing Creativity” and is currently working with the Institute for Academic Development to design some training for supervisors of interdisciplinary PhDs. This will be a great opportunity both to learn about and share your experiences of interdisciplinary research supervision from the student perspective. Be warned – this session may involve Lego!

As usual we will start with pizza, snacks and drinks at 4pm
